    It has been working all week, but to day it has frozen and will not work at all.
    all i have is the white ONDA showing on the front, its wont move further on than that. It had a flat battery this morning, it was chaging then it just stopped.

  • Hi, I asked before, but my question was not answered. Please, tell us, will be released the Final Firmware with Android Kit Kat for tablet Onda V972 ? or any other Final Firmware ? And when will be released the Final Firmware (please, tell us a date, not "soon" ) ? I asked this before in January and last month , but this question still was not answered. I need upgrade the firmware, but the beta version still have many bugs.

  • i have onda v972 more than one year after upgrade the android system from Jelly Bean (4.1–4.3) to KitKat (4.4–4.4.3) i cant work on battery it all time shout down and some time white line appeared what the problem although the battery charge more than 80% but it shut down on battery but on AC direct or put the charger it work fine ,So the problem is hardware or software.

  • Hi, my V972's speaker is faulty (distortion) and I would like to know where I can get a replacement or if you will provide the specs ie. Ohms, Max watts, frequency response etc I chould purchase an alternative. I am not interested in returning the tablet to Asia for repair.

    For using my V972 as a Monitor for the Canon Rebel/EOS 600D.
    The App (DSLR Controller) works through USB port and requests the Tablet to be rooted.
    
    Do you have a tutorial for rooting the V972 accordingly or another solution to this compatibility issue ?

  • Hi,
    I have one of the first V972 SN V972QAD1V1A09940? SO IT IS A v1 running Android 4.1 : can I upgrade straight to the latest software version (and to android 4.2 ?) or must I upgrade step by step ?
    For the moment it is freezed on "ONDA since 1989", a soft reset doesn't help and choices within the OS menu don't help neither.
    I'd like to reset from SD Card if possible...

    Thanks for your comments above, but I cannot do a soft reset : the tablet freezes at "ONDA since 1989".
    
    
    If I hold both "home" and "power" buttons for 5 - 10 seconds I enter this (OS ?) :
    
    Android system recovery
    Android sdk reversion:v1.2
    Volume up/down to move highlight:
    enter button to select.
    
    - reboot system now
    - apply update from ADB
    - wipe data/factory reset
    - wipe cache partition
    - apply update from TF Card
    - apply update from cache
    __________________________________
    
    Can I download a new software release (which one ?) on my PC on a SD card and then apply the update from SD card through the OS chosing "- apply update from TF Card" ?
    
    The "reboot system now" and the "wipe data/factory reset" or any other choice did not change anything.

    I have a V972 SN:V972QAD1V1A09940 white. I'm so happy I told two friends who bought it as well on my advise :-)
    It bugged a few times saying that the following process stopped "com.google.process.gapps".
    Before that the tablet bugged and I had to do a factory reset.
    I could read from the OS it is Android sdk reversion:V1.2
    NOW I CAN'T START THE TABLET ANYMORE, IT IS BLOCKED ON "ONDA SINCE 1989".
    What can I do ? --> My friends still have their tablets running good --> can I download something on a SD card from theirs and reboot mine then ?

  • I have the v972 32 gb. I have updated to Android 4.2.2 and the firmware to v3.2.1_v1.
    And now I am not able to move (and install) apps to SD. When I tap the button ’Move to SD card’ i have got an error massage: „Couldn’t move app.” Previously i had not faced that type of problem.

  • I am not sure how to update the ROM on my Onda V972 tablet. Currently it has version 4.2.2 but the battery runs out in 3 to 4 hrs with only using wifi and at 30% backlight use, You state 8-10 hrs battery working, Also, why are not all apps on Playmarket available, some say not compatible with this device. What Rom version is the latest and how do I download it from your site if I do not read Chinese. Your support is very welcomed and I look forward to buying other Onda brand tablets.
    
    Please email me the correct link and path with instructions how to upgrade to latest rom for longer battery life. Also how do I remove the Chinese Apps which I can not use since I do not speak language.

  • I purchased Onda v972 32gb tablet and it is only providing 3.5 to 4 hours battery time. It has version 4.2.2update and battery runs out very fast. I have followed directions to fully charge and allow to discharge fully three times and fully charge three times and still poor battery life. You state battery life is 8to 10 hrs. What should i do.

  • I bought tablet onda V972 (32 gb) at the beginning of february this year.I noticed that on the side of the tablet where sockets are i get a creaking sound that extends slightly into the display when finger and thumb pressure is applied to the glass edge and case.Is that bad quality of manufacturing of this product or something else ?
